Our annual Main Street events serve two purposes: they act as fundraisers to allow Main Street to continue sponsoring them yearly, and they function as a fun-filled, family-oriented lure to bring the community back to the downtown.

 We were delighted to add a new event in 2006, the first annual summer golf tournament. A 2-man scramble was held June 17 at the Stafford County Country Club, and many wonderful raffle prizes were given away -- including two tickets to the Senior Open to be held in Hutchinson!

 An event in the works for future years is a Fall Festival, through which we hope to combine the draw of our local pumpkin patch, and the Halloween festivities there, with the harvest time magic that fits so beautifully with the allure of the Square.
