35 people were in attendance for the western themed annual meeting in the square. The meeting opened with a welcome from president, Tammy Ramsey. Committee reports were given outlining what is planned for the 2006-07 year. Tammy discussed the Organization Committee, April Selfridge: the Promotion Committee, Brenda Reno: Design, and Laura Davis: Economic Restructuring.
The Volunteer of the Year award was presented by Tammy to Steve Freach. Steve was the unanimous choice of the board this year based on the many hours he has dedicated to Main Street. Once Steve had received his award, he started the grill and went to cooking burgers.
Outgoing board members, Christie Snyder and Lorelei Nelson were recognized though neither was in attendance. Jim Knowlton and Doris Tompkins were announced as the nominees for the two vacant positions. Jim Lakey moved to accept the nominees and Linda Hinkle seconded. A vote by show of hands was taken and motion passed.
The business meeting was then adjourned and everyone enjoyed a chuck-wagon style meal and western themed games.
